HTC Touch Pro 2 Review
Well the world of Touch screen mobiles has been expanded so much that one can not decide which one to choose. But for the PDA loves a new breed has evolved. This can be named as a hybrid, which features a touch screen and some hardware for typing input. This line of mobile phones is called Touch or Type. Only a few cell phones stand up proudly in this line. One of them is the all new HTC Touch Pro 2. It is an internet enabled smartphone designed by the HTC Corporation. Basically it is an advanced version of the HTC touch pro with a slider QWERTY keyboard for input.
The HTC Touch Pro 2 features a Qualcomm® MSM 7200 A ™ which delivers speed up to 528 MHz. It has 288 Mb of RAM enough to deliver high speed business performance. HTC has included Windows 6.1 Mobile for this mobile. It has 512 Mb of ROM included that can be increased with the use of a Micro SD card.
The screen is a 3.6 TFT- LCD touch screen with scratch resistant glass. The touch sensors have really been updated for this baby. It also features an accelerometer for auto rotation of the visual axis. For screen navigation it includes the TouchFLO 3D which enables screen navigation through finger swipes. Being a touch phone too it features a touch sensitive zoom bar which also is enable for applications like Google Map™ or so.
It is attached to the QWERTY keyboard with the help of a hinge. The angle of elevation can be adjusted according to the user’s choice.
It allows connections such as HSPA or WCDMA. These allow for internet connectivity of speed 2.0 Mbps uploading and till 7.2 Mbps in the downloading process. The GPS reception is done through an internal GPS antenna. In connectivity HTC Touch Pro 2 offers you a lot of options. Firstly it gives the Bluetooth 2.1 for fast data sharing and A2DP for the wireless headset users.
The camera of HTC Touch Pro 2 is a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera which also includes Auto focus for great photo sessions. A secondary VGA camera is also available for video calls and business conferences. The battery of this phone is a lithium ion rechargeable battery giving all the users 8.5 hours of talk time and an incredible 750 hours of standby time. Business Tycoons using video calls can use the phone for 2 hours with continuous video call in process.
For media playback it offers a wide range of sound formats and video formats too. It also features dual speakerphones for ultra quality sound performance. The HTC Touch Pro 2 contains Noise Cancellation for crystal clear voice input and output too.
