Motorola Evoke Q4 Review

motoroka evoke q4A few mobiles come in great packages keeping in mind the cost and the style. Motorola is otherwise not amongst the favorites when it comes to the looks of their mobile phones.  However, the all new Motorola Evoke Q4 is a break free from the routine Motorola handsets.

The Motorola Evoke Q4 has a sleek design incorporating a slider and strives to enter the Smartphone category with features like widget menu and a complete HTML browser for internet. While it may not be fully equipped to run the show single-handedly, it is a step ahead for Motorola.

It has the outlook of iphone and for a few seconds, I mistook the first image of the Motorola Evoke Q4A. But the built of the Evoke is quite awesome. The corners are made round giving a smooth finish and the back is made of rubber which also feels so comfortable when one is holding the phone. The screen of the Evoke is a 2.8 Inch display which delivers 400 by 200 pixels. The Evoke has a modest design in short. A single square shaped button gives options for Ok, back and is also used for launching applications. The numeric pad located under the touch screen slides out very smoothly revealing an easy to use numeric pad which is very soft and relaxing for the hands. The text input is available in the form of a full virtual QWERTY keyboard making typing as fun as possible. Widgets can be used to gain quick access to your favorite websites or pages. The Evoke is installed with Follow Me Weather, Google Quicksearch, Google Picasa, Myspace Mobile, RSS Reader, USA Today Mobile and Youtube. Widgets come with their own interfaces and the Evoke allows navigation through finger swipe through all the widgets. Nowadays mobile phones are coming with the integration with face book but Motorola being a unique designer has installed features linking Myspace to the phone.

The Motorola Evoke Q4A comes with an integrated 2.0 Mega pixel camera which also enables you to record videos. It comes with the capability of using Bluetooth for local data transferring and using wireless headsets. The Evoke allows GPS navigation and map reading too. Along with that one can also insert a media card for expanding the memory space. The Media Player is well civilized and works quite well. The sound quality is superb and it also allows headphone playback via an adopter.

The call quality is also quite well overall. Received voices sound crystal clear and the receiver is also quite pleased with the results. Background voices and fluctuation in voice can’t be found and it as a whole gives a nice result.

Well this stands as a good mobile for all those having a little less budget and gives quite a lot of options to use too. If you are looking forward to get a decent cell-phone with a nice affordable price range then I would say for the Motorola Evoke Q4A: “Go Get’em Tiger!”
