Understanding Computer Technology

A person who is not a techie does not know that what the instruments within a computer are. If a technician has opened your computer then might be you have a little idea that how your computer looks from inside. A person like me got scared the other day when my technician opened the CPU. It was a challenge for me to even recognize a particular device among so many devices when my technician requested me to handover an instrument which was lying just by side. However if you know the basic structure of a computer then it becomes a lot easy for you to understand the whole concept.
The first part of a complete computer system is CPU which is called as central processing unit. This central processing unit is fundamentally prepared by five important things. You can add some more devices as per your need. However these are the basic parts which make a CPU. The first part is called as motherboard. This device is called as the heart of a computer. The basic function of this device is to handle the networking section and various supporting cards. It also handles the sound and video.
The next is called as Microprocessor. It is known as the brain of a computer. It is the microprocessor who handles the instructions and does the work according to that. The next is called as the memory section. It is normally supplied with Random Access Memory (RAM) which is assembled on the motherboard. The next section is called as drive controllers. It controls the interface of the computer and the hard drives.
Another important section is hard-drive. It is a stable storage space tool where you can store all the data, documents and folders. The last one is called as the CD-ROM drive which reads a file from a read only tool.
