There is lots of application on Twitter and you can come across them that will find your level of smartness with just one click. When you connect them with your Twitter account and then you suddenly realise that the app has publish and unwanted score to your Twitter by using your own account.

Such applications on Twitter come very rare but they do exist in 1 of 100 and sometimes may embarrass you. Therefore, here are some easy steps to stop them of doing that.

If you really want to put off the apps from cheating you with your Twitter stream without your permission than the easier way would not be the solution to stop them all. That is however, an extreme loom, as you will than miss a lot of other application on Twitter, which are both useful and helpful.

There is a simple way to block the unwanted surprise on Twitter. When you are going to add an application on your Twitter profile than at that time you will see an authorization page where you can either allow or deny the apps access to your Twitter data.

So read the language carefully when you are going to add apps on your Twitter profile and read something like “the app would like Access and Update your data on Twitter” this means that you are granting the apps permission to post your Twitter stream. Many Twitter apps do not misuse that advantage but some apps may use.

Therefore, when you are going to try a new app on your Twitter profile that you have never seen before than it will be better to authorize only the ones, which required read only access to your Twitter data as screen in the Twitter data.
